Expanding access to mental healthcare for every child.
Every day, pediatric primary care clinicians turn to Child Psychiatry Access Programs (CPAPs) for same-day guidance on children’s mental health.
Federal funding for these programs has been cut, and most CPAPs have lost a substantial share of their support. The National Network of Child Psychiatry Access Programs (NNCPAP) is working to make sure that access endures.
At a time when CPAPs need the network more than ever, we are choosing to build.
We are creating what our members and programs have asked for: more ways to stay engaged, intentional learning communities, CPAP model standards, and enriching experiences that bring members together.
We need your help.
For those who can, we are asking for a financial contribution to support this work and our ongoing commitment to expand access to mental health care for every child.

Friends of NNCPAP Launching Fall 2026 -
NNCPAP exists because of its members.
Across all 50 states, and select tribal nations, and U.S. territories, our network of 800+ program administrators, consulting psychiatrists, and clinical leaders shares expertise, solves problems together, and strengthens the programs that expand children’s access to mental health care.
This fall we launched Friends of NNCPAP as a way to invest directly in that shared infrastructure.
Your support keeps the network strong.
Peer consultation, technical assistance, training, and care coordination resources depend on a sustainable base of support. Contributions from members, programs, and partners give NNCPAP the stability to keep this work going and growing, especially as CPAPs navigate an uncertain funding landscape.
Your voice shapes what we build.
Donor-supported funding is flexible. It lets NNCPAP respond to what members actually need, rather than only what a restricted grant allows.
Your gift is a statement of support.
Giving signals that CPAPs value a national network and are invested in its future. It demonstrates our organization is worth investing in, strengthening NNCPAP’s national positioning.
What you receive back:

NNCPAP Member“Many PMHCA programs are still in their critical stages of development and having access to a network of experienced leaders and mentors has been incredibly beneficial. We’ve frequently turned to the national group for advice, gaining critical insights that have directly influenced the growth of our own program”
