Educational Methods

Building the knowledge base and capacity of primary care clinicians is core to the CPAP Model.

Sample external educational offerings include:

  • ECHO

A cohort-based learning series with weekly sessions. Features a didactic, case presentation, and case discussion.

  • Annual Learning Collaborative

An annual gathering of primary care clinicians and CPAP consultants and staff. Features interactive learning sessions and opportunities for connection.

  • Community of Practice

Monthly open forum gathering of past and present ECHO or learning collaborative participants where participants bring cases to discuss collaboratively.

  • Traditional "Lunch and Learns"

Traditionally visited practices offering lunch and brief lectures. (ex. Assessment, Screeening, Depression, Anxiety etc.) Also, offered virtually at the lunch hour.

  • Peer-to-Peer Consultations

Each peer-to-peer consultation through the phone line is an opportunity to educate the calling provider.

  • Online Resources

Showcase electronic copies of program brochures and clinical care guides on an easily accessible website page.

“Every point of contact is an educational opportunity.”
