Nevada Pediatric Access Line (NVPAL)

Program Overview:

The NV PAL is a child psychiatry access program which provides telephonic 'curbside consultation' style support to primary care clinicians across the state for youth ages 0-25. Primary care clinicians statewide can access our program and request consultative support by calling our hotline or sending a HIPAA compliant text request through our online form. In some cases, when indicated by our telephonic discussion, we offer one time televideo consultation to the patient and their family to assist the primary care clinician's diagnosis and treatment planning for the patient. All of our child psychiatrist delivered activities are done in concert with and are supported by our care coordinator team, who also provide community outreach to find referral sources to meet the patient's geographic and fiscal need, and also provide psychoeducational and community support resources to the families we serve.

Services Offered:

  • Telephone consultation

  • Televideo consultation when determined necessary from the call

  • Care coordination for patients and families
